The Virtual Legacy (VL)
The VL is one of three products available to all Echodify members that enable you to pass on what matters to those who matter most. In general, the VL:
- Is a Data Storage Vault:
A VL is a secure and private data storage vault you create now to pass on important digital content. You choose from a wide variety of sizes and max time durations. - Includes a Message:
Like an Echo, a VL can be created with an accompanying text message that is secure and private, with which to convey important information. - Is Sent in the Future:
A VL is sent (delivered) up to 50 years in the future to the recipients you choose: family, friends, important organizations to you, and even the public domain. - Enhances Your Life Legacy:
A VL is useful to enhance your life legacy by enabling you to pass on your most meaningful digital items to those who matter most, at a time in the future you choose. - Is Double Encrypted (

In addition to a VL's sensitive fields (Subject and Message), all your file uploads and all file attachments to your VLs are double encrypted () to provide maximum data security. - Simple and Satisfying 1-Time Charge:
VLs are a premium product since it's basically data storage. But we compress the lifetime cost into a 1-time up-front charge for simplicity and maximum satisfaction. This pricing structure ensures your VL is taken care of should you be unable to maintain it (if its cost had been distributed over time).
Example Virtual Legacy
Note a few things about this example virtual legacy:
- It features a collection of digital files that are attached, which will become available to the VL's recipients when it is sent (delivered).
- It conveys a meaningful message between the sender and the recipients.
- It has three recipients, and each one will have access to the VL and its contents when it is sent (delivered).
- It was created ahead-of-time of course, but it will be sent (delivered) in the future on November 1, 2032.
- When the recipients receive this VL a few years from now, it most likely will have a very positive, heartfelt, and sentimental impact on them and, because of this, will enhance the sender's impact and life legacy.
